To apply for
membership in the Greensboro Police Officers Association, you must be an
employee of the Greensboro Police Department below the rank of
Lieutenant or the equivalent non-sworn rank. Reserve officers are
eligible to join also. Retired officers may retain their membership if
they so desire. Officers currently in the Police Basic Introductory
Course may also join prior to graduation.
Membership
dues are $15.00 per month. Dues must be paid either by an automatic
draft from your checking or savings account, or by check. If paying by
check, you must pay at least six months in advance.
Upon joining
the Greensboro Police Officers Association, you will receive a
Membership handbook
Smith & Wesson S.W.A.T. knife
Greensboro
Police Officers Association T-shirt
Greensboro Police Officers
Association membership card
and other miscellaneous membership
materials. These items will be sent to you by mail. If you do not
receive these items, please contact Ryan Walton or Eddy Summers immediately.
You may
cancel your membership at any time.
